  5. Green Wedding Shoes
    1. At Green Wedding Shoes, we are truly. madly. deeply. head over heels in love with love. We love sharing weddings with our readers and believe that there is no “right” way to throw a wedding. Whether you’re dreaming of an intimate wedding on a farm, a weekend camping adventure or a handmade wedding in a loft, we love them all! I love showing couples how their wedding can be all about them and that it’s ok to break traditions to make the day their own.Since beginning GWS, our mission has been to help couples personalize their wedding day and make it truly about the two of them as a couple, because that is what the day is about. We love great photography – because it’s the one thing you have to remember after the event! And we have lots of great artists to recommend in our GWS Wedding Artist Guide to help create a GWS wedding. In addition to sharing unique and creative real weddings, we also love sharing DIYs projects you can use for your wedding (or any party!) and identifying new trends that we’re loving and would like to see brides and wedding artists incorporate into future weddings. As we write GWS, we make it a point to travel and share fun ideas for your honeymoon or anniversary trips, since we have lots of readers who are already married! 🙂
  6. Lovely Little Details
    1. I love a good party. From weddings, to birthdays, to those precious occasions crowded around a dinner table with your nearest and dearest, sharing good wine, good food, and good company – I just absolutely love to bring people together to celebrate.
    2. Over the past 12+ years, I have worked and traveled my way across the United States and abroad planning weddings, festivals and corporate events, and this experience is the foundation that has built lovely little details into the seasoned celebration planning, styling + floral design boutique that it is today.
    3. What separates lovely little details from many planning companies is my extensive experience in all kinds of event management, including weddings of course, and the fact that I didn’t start my company simply because I planned my own wedding. I started lovely little details because I absolutely love planning celebrations, and while I enjoyed planning my own wedding, my work experience began far before my own special day. This experience comes to the table with each client, knowing how to handle stress under pressure while appearing to be completely at ease (ever had a rainstorm on top of a mountain in an area where rain is unheard of? or re-routed 110 guests to new hotels and located a new event venue thanks to a 6.0 earthquake 4 days before a wedding? or driven 4 hours to pick up a re-routed fedex package to get it to the corporate event on time? all without the client batting an eyelash? we have!) These little “bumps” have made me a better planner, stylist, person, wife, and more prepared for plan A-Z in every event. Plus it’s these little bumps that keep my job really, really fun and never without a dull moment.
    4. Along with my amazing team, I specialize in garden-inspired, just picked floral design, classically simple yet natural event styling and absolutely flawless logistics, leaving no stone unturned throughout the process. My goal is to make sure that the lovely little details truly reflect each client and tell their story, one detail at a time. And to make sure your party is a good one – a really, really good one that friends, family and loved ones will be talking about for years to come.
    5. All in all, I believe that life is short but sweet for certain. You only live once so what are you waiting for? Go out there and do whatever it is that makes you smile inside and out. Let yourself feel those butterflies of excitement. I feel so grateful to be able to work with clients on the happiest day of their lives, and help them tell their story through the lovely little details. My name is Jacin (it’s Jay-sin), and it’s so nice to meet you.
